There is everything from semi precious jewelry, handbags, gifts and art created by local Texans to an exquisite lampwork and Murano jewelry line created in Surrey, England and beautiful  handbags from Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Customer favorites include the coasters made from old 45 records, hand poured organic soaps, oil paintings, and the Angels and Divas Collection of pearl and turquoise jewelry and other items designed by the owner herself. 

There are original ceiling tiles made into mirrors and artwork, and painted furniture by local artisans mixed in with beautiful handcrafted wood furniture and wonderful vintage pieces.  at HARPERS merchandise purchased through the fair trade organization include an eclectic mix of interesting items custom crafted from South America to Africa.

After owning her own talent agencies in NJ and NY and being downsized from a corporate marketing executive position in education traveling weekly,what does Ms Harper love about her new venture here in Texas?  "People are so kind and gracious here! Customers frequently walk in and say things like "I've been looking for a desk for 3 years and this is exactly what I wanted!"  One day after making several purchases three women said to me....We were not having a good day but our mood has completely changed since we have been in your store!.... we will return with all of our friends!....  For me it just doesn't get any better than that!"

What's new at HARPERS?  Join us on Saturday February 27th from 6:30-8:30 for our Junk to Gems event to start our fund raising and a membership drive for the ANGELS AND DIVAS network to help women and youth. 

Please bring your old broken, dont need it , dont wear it junk drawer jewelry, missing one earring jewelry, fun or beautiful pieces that you can donate.  We will upcycle all broken jewelry to create something beautiful and 25% of proceeds will go to help others.  Old rhinestones and glittery pieces and pearls are especially appreciated.  We will list you and your business on a Resource Page on our website to help network your business to our customers.  We currently get over 30,000 hits a month on our website.
